I also have a Yoshi! He just turned 3! It gets way easier, especially after they turn 1. He still tests me every day and the sass is crazy but I do not miss the drywall eating 😭

Give it a few months. Me and my shiba nap together all the time. She likes to tuck herself into the back of my legs. But occasionally will lie across my head. I allow it because she is a blessing 🥰

Oh yes, good old times. If I can give you a couple of hints: go with him for short walks, even if he’s not fully vaccinated yet he can do those! What matters is not making him get in contact with other dogs or urine/feces. It really helps to discharge his energy. Try also to put limitations to where he can go, like the sofa and the bathroom for example. It really helps to making him understand that you’re in charge and some places are forbidden and he has to earn them. Also: I saw you’re using kennel! Good move! I’d suggest to leaving him there while you’re not interacting with him, he has to understand that you’re in charge for his “freedom”. I hope these tips can help, my first months with my Shiba were a nightmare 🥲 very stubborn, but now he’s a very well behaved little prince of 3.5 years old. Good luck!
