my instructor doesn't want me crossing my arms and says that in a test it could be marked as dangerous and wants me to do push and pull is their any other methods that I could try

But if you say that why did my examiner judge me on my steering when I had full control of the car and was using all my mirrors he marked that down as a major fault … my Instructor said that I was doing everything right and I should’ve passed. There was nothing wrong with my steering or control. 😩

I took my driving licence in Portugal around 23 years ago. they tough me to reverse exactly how you said @David Thomas. 1 hand on the wheel, the other one the back of the passenger seat and looking to my rear window 🤣✌️💪

Just to clarify is it just when reversing ur steering position dosent matter as long as ure in control or am I ok to drive with my hands however I like just when driving cos my instructor gets dead angry whenever I cross my arms or don't do his steering method

Passed my test yesterday, crossed my arms and was at times steering with 1 hand, the key is my examiner never felt that I didn’t have control of the vehicle and was safe at all times

when you past your test and apply for insurance and out your licence number in would it not still say that your learning or does it update automatically?

wait hold up, it's ok to cross arms? cause my instructor keeps pointing out that when I'm steering I'm crossing my arms despite still being in control of the vehicle.

I kept telling myself to have 2 hands on wheel on my test on Monday! 🤣 I never kept them fully on! 🤣 I'm a 1 handed driver (and I passed with 3 minors) whoop!
