Wait I'm sorry, I'm confused. Because like, they swapped babies, so Jinshi went to the empress and the Empress's baby went to Ah Duo, but then Ah Duo's baby got killed, and Ah Duo is Jinshi's biological mother, so didn't Jinshi technically die

It’s because even though he did bad Anshi also knows what she did was also not consent. So that baby was not made with love. In her mind the emperor loved her when she was young. So that son was made with love. She didn’t think it was fair for her 2nd son it wasn’t his fault that she felt bad when she saw him. Jinshi is the son of the son made from love.

Can someone explain how Jinshi looks exactly like Lady Ah-Duo and the late emperor? Wouldn’t it also make sense that she resembles the late emperor? And if so, doesn’t that mean she’s related to him too? Isn’t her mother the older lady who looks after Jinshi? Wasn’t she described as “a childhood friend of the emperor and the daughter of a wet nurse”? So… who is her dad?!?
