I just cut the roots of my orchids, now it is standing in nothing but it's plastik pot. I will let it sit in water once a week. Can I leave it just in air or does it need something?

Thank you so much! I started a mini in water culture May 7th, all roots are healthy and green. I was worried if that happened that it meant I was killing it. Glad to know it’s ok!

I almost killed my orchid. just 1 question. I tooled her out of the pot she came in and put in jar with full water. I found a green turn yellow which scared me. I took out and potted her then learned I should not have potted. took her out put back in jar with just water at bottom. should I leave her like that?
