I still say all these abandoned malls need to be turned into apartments with interior corridors the huge department stores at the end can be turned into grocery stores and quick convenience and restaurants for the residents

it blows my mind as someone living in australia that someone said "can we bring back malls" like wdym? 😭😭 are all your shops seperated / an individual building? 😭 you'll rarely see a seperate building plot for 1 shop over here, i am so confused ahh!

I think they should repurpose vacant malls into homeless veterans housing to help get them back on their feet & give them that community they have been used to.

Turn the whole place into a senior retirement village. Hundreds of apartments could be framed in while having a climate controlled walking area with coffee shops, pharmacy, movie theater, urgent care, and whatever else is wanted for convenience
