I make right about the same hours you do and my total yearly is 60K with only 3 weeks of vacation. 5 sick days that I can maybe use for my exams that I still had to take. ( I cant just use my sick days just to use them) so keep in mind, she’s making WAY more than others.

That’s over double what similar positions earn in Europe (which the exact same qualifications, of course). Sometimes it’s better to keep the complaints to yourself. Quietly. If there’s one thing American doctors can’t complain about, is their salary.

As residents in Mexico we earn $1.73 - 2.77 US dollars an hour. And the average working hours is 100 hours per week, even though legally is maximum 80 hours per week!

It’s so discouraging as a Nursing student to see how hard I work currently as a health care worker, how hard I work in school to maintain a 4.0 and how much more responsibility i will be taking on as a RN to see how we are being under paid! We save lives, we care for your familes, we put ourselves on the line to sickness’s and diseases. Pray for our health care workers

I got paid $38,800 my intern year in 2007. With inflation that would be 58k today. So glad you’re higher but I feel with school loan repayment, you deserve so much more.
