Never leave a piercing valve on any active system. You are just creating another leak in the system. You have to fix the existing leak before you just “add” refrigerants into a system my friend.

You can't just add refrigerant, got to find the leak first. And then piercing valve is only there to recover refrigerant

That’s not a liquid line…it’s a discharge line, high pressure/temperature Vapor. Liquid line is between condenser and evaporator….also you need to fix the leak before adding refrigerant

if there is a leak in drain line even if u re gas it doesnt matter, u need to find the leak and repair it first

most of the time it's the defrost circuit or evaporator fan and not it being low on refrigerant....hell it might even be the kids slamming the fresh food door and popping open the freezer ....raise the frig front
