Perhaps that’s a misinterpretation of the statement? Obama upheld the federal law as President Trump is also doing… the perpetrators are the problem in both cases. Sometimes, upholding the law isn’t pretty, they’re criminals, that’s how they act…destruction of property and violence, to be met with law enforcement, not sure how that’s defendable?

That's how they've set this up. It's like with the election lies that Trump has continued to push for years. Now if or when it is found out that Trunp actually cheated to win this election his followers will just say, "Well, Biden did it!" and they will not care in the slightest if it's true or not. Eroding confidence in what is true was the whole objective and that was accomplished long ago.
