"as long as I clean it properly I'll be fine" no you really won't. you need hazmat level cleaning. carbon fiber particles are similar to fiber glass particles. you'll never get it all out yourself.

If you ever do a project like this again, take plastic sheets and staple them to the ceiling to create room around area your working in. It saves so much mess and won’t spread throughout the house. 😬😬😬

Carbon fiber for a food prep surface.... This will be looked back on like we look back on asbestos. please moisten surfaces to keep dust down to help clean up. Hope it turns out well!
