I remember me too having same problem but school was just doing their job while I and my brother had to go for extra lessons how to read and write ✍️adult school not basically but we had teacher who put us through reading and writing but now it different from before 💯 am happy now because it is not a problem to both of us now

My daughter did as well.... But we put her in Sylvan Learning Center at 4th grade tutoring.. She caught up at the end of 1 year... 3x a week

She used apps to do her homework...why not get an app to teach herself to read? She didn't want anyone to know, so she came up with alternatives to get by. Now she wants payment for something she wouldn't do for herself.

It is not the teacher’s fault, it’s the sustem’s fault. I am sure all the trachers knew what was going on and gave her help. Her parents should have stepped up too.

She needs to sue her parents. Parents are responsible for the development of a child. The school was a free tool/resource to help the parents and they did not take advantage of it.

this happened in 1982 also 4 parents sued the school system and there was a law passed No Child Left Behind that is why they do test every three or four years I think to see if the kids are learning something so somebody definitely pushed her through
