@quintondong251: If you're a US citizen, whether born here or naturalized, I highly suggest carrying your US passport card in your wallet. If you don't have one, you can get it when you order your Us passport (not sure if you can order it separately). While we technically don't need to and can verbally just say we're citizens (1 think, l'm no lawyer to be clear), it doesn't hurt to carry your proof of citizenship with you in case you encounter ICE since they're all over the place now, from roads to grocery stores to schools and all.
