tire guy here, did any of these make spicy popcorn sound before blowing? had two blow on me in the field and neither made any noise before had. both had sidewall injuries I couldn't see.

Yeah this is why I don’t try airing up a tire that has low psi we have a vendor that mounts and dismounts all our tires

Knock on wood but I have been doing this for 13 years and not once have I been hurt. The cars not moving over on the highway when doing road service is more dangerous than this!

a coworker and I got very lucky with a split rim. I was underneath with earbuds he was on the side of the truck telling me where the possible issue when the inner tire popped
