@rootboundfarms: How do We at Rootbound Farms control our Cucumbers as they Grow up the Trellis? 🥒We transplant in the ground in early May 🥒As the cucumber grows, we guide it around the trellis rungs. 🥒Any off shoots are cut off as the main stem grows up the trellis to control the growth. If we didn’t do this, the plant would become too crowded and would be susceptible to disease. 🥒Once the main stem gets about 6-7 feet tall on the trellis, we stop pruning and let the plant explode with growth!! . . . . . #growingvegetables #growingcucumbersfromseeds #urbangarden #growingcucumbers #farmstead #smallfarmlife #growyourownfood #suburbanfarm #growfoodnotlawns #suburbanfarmer #trellisgarden #homegrown #verticalgardening #backyardgarden #cucumber #growyourown #vegetablegarden

new to gardening and behind on getting my cucumbers trellised 😭 if you weave them behind the paneling and back in front like in the video will they keep growing that way or do you have to do anything with them to help? also how do you decide which stems to cut off?

Great info! Do you have a cucumber beetle problem? They ruined mine last year. Never had that much trouble before.
