I can really commiserate with this. I’m an American who has been in Europe for 2.5 years and am feeling a lot of the same things. Part of the struggle is also being the token American for a lot of Europeans and having to explain the intricacies of this political situation at the moment. It’s okay to hate what’s happening and still miss home, I’m in the same spot.

My opinion , I think everyone needs to look at his own family history… we’ve got different perspectives and opinions but who is really a citizen of his country… we have got Turkish , Marocon/ Italian/ Spanish/ Greek and other nationalities who are citizens who vote that others would be deported 🤯 America was first visit by the Vikings but Columbus is the one he really set foot in the ground, America is the name from an Italian man and since then it’s called America… Austria, Hungary was ruled under one king , Belgium and the Netherlands also , we have Persia so who is really an actual citizen of his country??
