@bringhomenow: Yair (Yaya) Yaakov was murdered and abducted from his home at kibbutz Nir Oz, on October 7th, 2023. His two young sons, Or and Yagil, were also abducted and came home after 52 days. His partner Meirav who was abducted with him was released after 53 days. Yaya, 59 years old at the time of his death, worked in the garage of Kibbutz Alumim. A humble family man who was always ready to help everyone. He enjoyed life, loved listening to music and simply sitting with a cold beer in the sun.
