once was ghosted after an 8 hour interview where both the director and assistant director told me i would more than likely be receiving an offer for the position. eight. hours. The position is still posted I’m pretty sure after 2 years and i never received an email back from the woman that coordinated it despite seeing her multiple times as she came in with her family to my second job at the time. I literally served her food LMAO

recruiter here, it's probably the hiring manager holding everything up 😂 one time I had a hiring manager who just straight up refused to review any interview notes or make decisions on anyone she spoke to, we had to put the role on hold. that was fun.

Went through this with a recruiter, 4 rounds of interviews, and received an offer just have it rescinded an hour later because they didn’t realize they couldn’t hire me remote in the state I lived in. Over 3 weeks completely wasted.
