@eufront: It’s so convenient Far-right populist leaders often criticize the European Union to present themselves as defenders of national sovereignty and opponents of “globalist elites.” This anti-EU rhetoric helps them gain popular support by blaming Brussels for local problems. However, many of these same leaders or their parties have been involved in misusing EU funds.
