Also, there is less chance that you will have to negotiate around food service to use the bathroom. This is the case when the bathrooms are located at the rear of the airplane.

I flew out of Phoenix two weeks ago and the pilot had to announce to please close the bathroom door when you are done put of respect for those sitting at the back of the plane🤣

worst place to be is at the back of the plane with the noise from the galley, and people coming and going to the toilets. It’s also the bumpiest in turbulence

I know southwest is going to assigned seating but my wife and I just recently booked our flight to Vegas for September and it seems the new assigned seating hasn’t yet been implemented? Not sure if anyone has flown SW recently and has knowledge if this is true or not?
