@eliyaeats: Choc Chia Mousse 🍫✨ (makes 3-4 serves): - 40g dark choc - 200g vanilla yogurt - 200g kefir- I use a high protein vanilla flavoured one, I love kefir for the gut health benefits but this can be replaced with yogurt and about 1/3 cup milk - 1 tbsp cocoa powder - 1-3 tbsp maple syrup- I use sugar free - add more if you like it sweeter - 80g chia seeds- about 4 heaped tbsp - 1 tsp vanilla 1. Melt dark choc and add the yogurt and kefir, I like to immersion blend this mix to make it extra smooth (as the choc may harden when the yogurt is added)- OR you can melt the dark chocolate over a bain-marie and add the yogurt and kefir bit by bit to get it extra smooth 2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until well combined 3. Set in the fridge for 3-4 hours or preferably overnight and enjoy I like to serve with a drizzle of honey and raspberries This chia mousse is great for breakfast or for dessert 10/10 would recommend *you could also add protein powder to add extra protein, just add extra milk or yogurt Macros per serve (4): Calories: 230 Carbs: 13g Protein: 13g Fat: 12g
I only use cocoa powder to save cals and it’s still insane 🔥

Tip: you can actually blend the chia pudding to make it a silky/creamy texture

Just curious if this is sweet at all if you’re using dark chocolate, Kefir, and no sugar maple syrup? Won’t this just taste bitter? Where is the sweetness, if any, coming from?

if you’ve never had chia seeds before, start with 1tbsp! they’re great for you but if you’re not used to the fibre then it can make you quite constipated and bloated :)

eating the same amount of ice cream would be equivalent in calories bc of the amount of chia seeds

This is amazing. I love that the dark chocolate makes little crunchy chocolate bits... or maybe it's just how mine turned out?? I put coconut whipped cream on top
