My truck is a Ford F150 xlt. Triton 4.6 l engine 2 wheel drive. My question is, my service engine light keeps kicking on and it says that it's my PC V valve and that is real lean in bank one. What can I do to repair it? I have replaced the pivot valve 2 other times. our mechanics can't seem to find out what's wrong with it.Said need help please answer back

If your MAF sensor looks like that you have a real big problem not to mention you should never clean that sensor as diy. Using the wrong cleaner or incorrectly cleaning it will damage that sensor.

its called an MAF sensor(massive air flow) it controls the fuel to air ratio, you can take it out and clean it but with specific cleaner and let it dry off by it's self dont touch it its an extremely sensitive sensor hope it helps 😀

Cleaning the Mass Air Flow Sensor doesn’t always work. Sometimes you have to just replace it. They don’t cost much.

Maf. Just cleaned mine, worked for 2 days then losing again.. Was losing power. Bought a new one and put it. Problem solved

the mass airflow sensor should only be cleaned with a mass air flow cleaner designed strictly for it!
