So before trying to “day trade” your way to success, here’s my honest advice: Don’t trade. Invest. Unless you’re ready to put in 2+ hours a day minimum, your edge will always be limited. Want to truly level up your understanding of finance? Start here: • Learn how markets are structured (primary vs. secondary, OTC vs. listed) • Understand basic products: equities, bonds, ETFs, options, futures • Go deep on macro (inflation, rates, FX) — it drives everything • Read institutional reports (from Goldman, JPM, BlackRock…) and learn their language • Explore how traders hedge risk (Greeks, P&L attribution, VaR) • Study the tools they use: Bloomberg, Excel/VBA, Python If you get this right, you’ll stop seeing finance as just “stocks and charts” — and start thinking like a real market participant.
