This officer needs to be fired. He had no right to slam the elderly gentleman down on the ground. He overreached and used too much force

The guy whacked his chest with his hand, but it was like a tap. It wasn’t like he was trying to punch him, but you can’t hit a law-enforcement officer, but he did not have to use that much force to put the guy down. He could’ve just said OK you’re under arrest now for assaulting a police officer and could’ve just copped him and put him in the back of the car. He did not need to slam him on the ground.
