I wish the show did justice to the archangels, like they were the most terrifying weapon in Heaven, the most powerfuls (after God, Amara, and Death), but they were always easily overpowered by a simple circle and a simple blade... like they give us so much hype in the season 4, with Castiel's warning and the fact that that they were the Prophets' protectors, but they always show us like the joking side of God's first creation, while they could have easily bring the whole Creation to the knees (like AU!Michael did, but even him was also overpowered by simple handcuffs and spells).

I wish they would show that archangels like Lucifer, Michael, and Raphael are too powerful to be overcome by a blade or handcuffs. For me, they really weakened Lucifer. He was the most terrifying character in season 4, and the rest of his appearance led to him being locked in a cage.
