@sijapatisuman: Air India Flight AI171, en route to London Gatwick, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad early Thursday morning, killing nearly all 242 people on board, according to Channel News Asia (CNA). The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner went down minutes after departure, striking a residential doctors' hostel near the airport and erupting into flames. Emergency crews recovered at least 204 bodies, and authorities say there may be only one survivor from the aircraft. Five people on the ground were also killed, and dozens injured. Officials say the plane appeared to lose lift at low altitude. India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau, along with UK and Boeing representatives, has launched a full inquiry. The black boxes have been recovered. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called it a “national tragedy,” and Air India has pledged full support to the victims' families. #airindia #airplanecrash #amhedabad #rip #fyp #sijasuman
