The Working Theory :
I moved back in with my parents three different times in a 10 year time span when I was in my 20s. One of those times I did pay rent (like $300 month all inclusive so not a big deal) however, every single time I would always cook for the family two times a week my parents split the other days, id take care of their dog when they went on trips, helped clean and organize, help with yard work, etc. I was never a fan of having to move home because I wanted to “make it on my own” however im still very appreciative that I even had that support to begin with cause not everyone does. Sometimes even when your working two jobs, going to school full time, and having to mive back home can feel like such a set back.

I moved out when I was 23. I wish I did this around the house more for my mom. she took care of everything my whole life. I helped sometimes don’t get me wrong, but not as much as I should’ve. you’re a great daughter and I’m sure you have great parents 💕
