My now husband tried talking to me on MySpace, and I told him I didn’t talk to strangers, after failed multiple attempts on his end. Then Facebook came along and he tried again multiple times to talk to me and I finally gave in. Been together 13 years this year and married 10.

She needs to file a report with the police. it needs documenting. He is going to be 1000% worse as he has been obsessed with her for years & something he did that caused it to suddenly end... there is no way he will accept that & will be focused on winning her back / stopping her moving on, knowing her every move, obsessing over any mens he sees her with. She needs to advise her college & site security, work EVERYONE SHE CAN to ensure everyone is aware of the situation

I would orchestrate two new lives. Throw a moving party and have friends post about being excited to visit the one location. Even post-move, I’d post as if in the one location (maybe have a friend visit there to get pics), but be in an entirely different place with a new number and everything.
