@elyssajoy_: I thought I would never. Sometimes I bring a snack in my bag and sometimes I give him strawberry’s I’m about to buy. What are your thoughts? And it’s not every time . #toddler #mom #motherhood
Get a snack, pay, keep receipt. Then walk around doing shopping. -someone who worked retail

Yes but the supermarkets where I live all have free fruit for kids so we usually just grab those

If it's something that can be scanned, yes! I just tell the cashier to ring an extra one through etc. especially if they are freaking out 😂

I let mine have a lunchable and then make sure it is scanned at the end and it’s a way to make sure I take care of the garbage and not leave it in the cart

Some grocery stores in Australia, Queensland, actually give away in season fruit for kids. Like there's these little baskets in the fresh fruit and veg isle with bananas, apples, mandarins and a sign saying take one per child. It's to help promote healthy eating but keeps the kids occupied for a short time.

Hey beautiful, I’m not a mum, but as an auntie who loves her niece or nephew, yes you should always let your child have a snack in the supermarket. The reason being is cause then they let you get your job done and you don’t have to do like five different shops at at different times.

Supermarkets in Australia have stands near where you enter the store with free fruit for kids. Bananas, apples, pears & mandarins mostly. It’s so good and gives kids a healthy free option rather than a pack of chips or chocolate. A lot of our produce is sold by weight, the only fruit/vege that isn’t is packaged.
