To those wondering, under the Geneva Coneventions,"It is prohibited in all circumstances to use incendiary weapons against the civilian population, civilian objects, forests or other kinds of plant cover." At now point does it say Soldiers. So, techinally you can use a flamethrower in war, if it doesn't hurt civilians, their property, or the environment. Also, the flame thrower is coo and there way of doing it is cool. (My source is casebook.icrc.org)
