@mule.leather: How to remove wrinkles from a thrifted leather jacket without damaging it 🧥 Leather is very sensitive to heat, so using a hot iron to remove creases is a hard NO 🚫🙅♀️ Instead, you can relax the leather by using gentle steam and better yet, wearing it! Leather will warm up from your body heat and over time the creases and wrinkles will relax. Gravity is also your friend. Always hang your thrifted leather jackets on a broad coat hanger, the weight of the jacket will gently ease out the creases. Some leather restorations take time, that's ok. It's worth the work, together let's keep leathergood out of landfill! Follow me for more easy and honest leather care, restoration and vintage leather repair tips and tricks. Have a question? Feel free to ask, I'm always happy to help 😊 #creatorsearchinsights #leather #leatherrestoration #leatherjacket #opshop #vintageleather #leathercare #leathertok

I have just purchased a vintage varsity jacket that is in bad need of a wash - body itself is black wool and sleeves are a cream leather which the black wool dye has transferred onto in places. Would you recommend taking this to a dry cleaner due to multi materials or can you advise how I would tackle this myself please? Love your work🥰

U can iron leather but use a fabric under the iron so the leather doesn't stick also if u have imprints in the leather they will only come out with an iron or a heat gun on low but be careful not to burn the leather

Can I suggest the ‘Dirt’ brand fabric spray/deodoriser? I just took it travelling. It also has an enzyme in it
