Just to clear things up for anyone confused Israel attacked Iran a while back, but the missiles weren’t launched from Jordan. They actually came from bases in Iraq and Syria (without their governments’ approval). Jordan didn’t allow any Israeli missiles to pass through its airspace at that time.Now that Iran is firing back at Israel, some of those missiles are flying through Jordanian airspace and that’s why Jordan is shooting them down. It’s not because they’re choosing sides or backing Israel, but because they don’t want to get dragged into a war they never wanted to be part of in the first place. They’re basically just trying to protect their own people and stay out of it ,It’s a complicated situation, but Jordan’s main goal here is to avoid becoming a target.
