I remember during hurricane Juan, a big tree around Spring Garden got knocked over and it pulled up bones that were in the root system. Wild! I didn’t realize there were that many though!

So a lot of buildings downtown weren’t blown away, as I lived one block from this old library and the new one, my house is from the late 1870’s on church st. So I don’t think you’re quite right on those unmarked graves downtown.

My husband works for a supplier for contractors and he knows one who has many contracts for large commercial buildings and condos. They are often built on top of mass graves.
