@artem_pankovich: Coolant Pouring Out Like a Faucet! • Today in the shop — a 2006 Ford Fiesta with a 1.3L A9J gasoline engine. The customer complained that the coolant level keeps dropping, and a large puddle of antifreeze keeps forming under the car. • I pressurized the cooling system to around 1–1.5 bar using my test pump, and the problem showed itself immediately — the coolant was pouring straight out of the water pump like a faucet. Clear diagnosis: failed water pump. • Luckily, on this engine, replacing the water pump is quick and easy. I removed the belt, loosened a few bolts — and the pump came right out. Installed a new one, tightened everything properly, filled fresh coolant, and carefully bled the system. • After warming up the engine and waiting for the thermostat to open, I checked the level again — everything’s holding steady.
