I use baby powder and a blush brush when im out of dry shampoo. I apply powder and then quick blow dry my hair to get rid of the extra powder. ...and its less sticky the spray too.

I also put spray deodorant on the nape of my neck to avoid a sweaty tangled bottom layer, and honestly that works too😂
