My setup is abit different. All ISPS go through the core switch. two vlans configured on the core switch. One from isp and the other to firewall.... Then from trunk port of core switch to WAN port firewall... Don't know if that makes sense to any of you.

this is the first setup I worked for. The only difference is we have more access switches and everything is in HA setup. And the thing is the devices in AS needs to hop upto the fw back to the destination device.

This topology has a name and it's a 3 tier layer network, be very CAREFUL with the designation of edge router it may imply an MPLS network. Also this 3 tier may not be suited for any type of organization, it may right to use a 2 tier network for small enterprises, a 3 tier for medium ones and finally for large organizations the spine and leaf architecture is King.
