im so confused if the guy i like is an avoidant. one of the first times we hung out, he got vulnerable and even cried a bit in front of me bc he got deep with me. this is absolutely no problem to me bc i want them to feel safe enough to be vulnerable with me, but they were making jokes that i wasnt gonna stay or that i was weirded out bc he cried, which wasnt true. but the more im learning about avoidant attachment, im starting to see the signs in him. im just confused bc ik that avoidants lack vulnerability, so thats the opposite of what happened. recently, it seems like hes been trying to pull away more and more, so i suspect but am not sure if its avoidant attachment. someone pls help me!!

I used to be very anxious and beg, but for some reason I really wasn’t w my avoidant partner. During the breakup yes I pleaded to work it out but after that I didn’t really reach out. Been almost 2 months now and I feel some peace after that first month I stopped crying or thinking about him as much and now I throughly enjoy the peace from being alone. I wonder if I actually processed the breakup or am I suppressing it or is this me becoming more secure I wish I had fund to go to therapy
