I have been putting paper towels under mine for years. It doesn’t stop them from boiling over just catches the mess when they do

Just get a kettle and pour boiling water in the cup and let it sit for a few minutes 😅 better the making a mess in the microwave 😅

you're supposed to watch it and as soon as you see the water coming up to the top take it out stir in the cheese and let it sit for about 5 minutes allowing it to finish cooking...main thing is take it out as soon as the water rises

Lower the power on your microwave, from power 10 to power 8. And it won't boil over.

The first time I ever made one of these I put hot water in the cup before microwaving. The water bubbled over. The next time when I used cold before microwaving the water never bubbled over.
