you can go back to 1988 as good or better ..the 700 r4 trans and a carberated a vortex 305 for simplicity and maintenance cost is the best. none of this matters if the frame rusted into. why does my 55 Chevy frame is not rusty after setting in the field for 40 years perry mission couldn't sell me a new car....as a driver only older Toyota ... government needs to get out of the car business

my 01chevy went 474 thousand miles took out due 2 low oil pressure I got 567 thousand on 2nd salvage motor it's gone 100 thousand I don't know what miles was on the engine when installing
