@menendezofficial1: Lyle’s testimony will forever haunt me and break me. When Lyle took the stand, it was surreal. He had the courtroom and public in pieces after revealing the traumatic experiences he had been through as a child. Lyles abuse is seriously not taking into account he’s always seen less as a victim as his brother and it’s not fair. Lyle is also a victim and he is also a survivor just as much as his younger brother Erik. I do believe that Lyle had been abused by dad, longer than what he says because he doesn’t want to admit due to shame and because he doesn’t want to seem weak as he’s a big brother and he needs to be a protector in his eyes. What lie went through it truly something that people won’t understand unless they’ve experienced it and his brother. These men are two victims of serious CSA at the hands of their parents. The fact that 35 years later they’re still in prison truly disgusts me these men are victims and their survivors. Even when they believed that they would spend the rest of their lives in prison they have been more productive and helped those around them and people who will be released from prison that is truly inspirational and they also help ab*se victims and s*x ab*se victims and tried to help people heal and to react to situations differently to how they reacted. These men are survivors and they are victims. It’s time that they get the justice that they deserve and they deserve to reunite with their family and get closure together and heal properly. They deserve to know what true freedom really feels like without feeling like a burden or panic. I hope Lyle knows that there are so many people out there who believe him and know that he has support out her and see him for who he is and that he is a fantastic brother and protector. And I know I hope Erik knows how much support he has as well. Justice will prevail and the truth will set the brothers free!
