Ellen, who is just 33, has 6 children. At age 16, Ellen married her first cousin - she tells me this is quite common in the travelling community. She also spoke about the loss of her first child, a little girl, at aged just 2 & a half, & a stillborn son - both with the same rare heart defect. Ellen spoke for the first time about her toxic marriage, her struggle for survival & her fight to get out of it. . Ellen now lives away from the travelling community, saying she was shunned as she divorced her husband, but she now lives happily, raising her children in a settled community. .
