Yes, as a Notary i use blue pens unless otherwise requested by client, and the reason I use blue is because when they copy your after it is notarized the blue ink shows as a copy where as for the black ink if the printer is a good really good printer you can't tell the diferente sometimes between the copy and the wet signature
