We make our own humming birds feed. 4 cups of sugar for a gallon of water. Always boil the water and sugar let it cool and fill the bird feeders. Keep the rest in the fridge. Refill weekly. Do not use red food coloring either. Him

Only fill about 1/4 of the jar..unless you have a lot of hummingbirds if not it will get mold in it reallly quickly
