When will these legislators comprehend there is no shortage, this is a retention issue and not a recruitment one. Nurses are leaving the bedside because of the poor staffing issues.

Also… interesting take on NNA stating they are Ok with having the ratios written into the administrative code. Sooo would that mean every nurse who took assignments outside ratio could be reported? Or instead, how about nurse leaders making the assignments?

He’s definitely paid! Crazy what these hospitals do! And ofc he will never feel the side effects of his poor choice. Because if he ever got admitted they would make him VIP. This is so disappointing, Neveadas healthcare is so poor.

As a floor nurse in Las Vegas, there is a massive shortage in this valley. I could see where this bill would really screw over the hospitals, because there’s no way they can staff to follow this bill. Of course I want safe staffing. I hate being the triage nurse, and have 30 pts in the lobby. But I knew this bill would never pass here. I didn’t even bother getting my hopes up.
