They don’t save people don’t get it misconstrued! The fire department saves people the ambulances they save people. The police just cleared the scene and put cuffs on everybody, but they don’t save people.

People have actually suffered injustices at the hands of police, but in other cases, police have to do a job that is unpleasant and when they do it, they are still seen as the villain. Police have to understand that the reputation they have will affect how people perceive them and interact with them. Its up to each individual cop to try to change that perception. The public has to also realize that if one cop does wrong or even if a thousand cops do wrong, that does not mean that ALL cops should be generalized because they are all individuals. It can be hard to separate one uniform from the next, but its not the uniform that is committing the acts, its the person wearing it and we know that no person should he judged by the actions of another sharing the same race, gender, or occupation.

because LEO constitutional violations and violent assault on innocent people is getting more widespread. cops show up after the crime, and most often than not, treat the victim like a criminal. they think they're above us, and not public servants.

I'm 54 in my life I have had 1 positive experience and 27 negative experiences. I'm not talking about oh I got a ticket as a negative experience, I'm talking about attempted murder, assaults, theft, lies, and racism.

As a police officer for over 10 years I can honestly say it is a very small, usually radical, minority of uneducated people who truly vilify cops. Most people support us, or at least understand our place and the need for us within society.
