✝️The law of causality is a fundamental principle in both science and logic: everything that begins to exist must have a cause. Our universe began to exist—proven by the Big Bang, cosmic background radiation, and the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Therefore, the universe requires a cause. Atheists often ask, “Then who created God?”—but that question misunderstands the argument. Causality only applies to things that begin. God, by definition, is eternal and uncaused. He is the necessary, timeless First Cause.
Some suggest the universe came from “nothing” or from “quantum fluctuations.” But these theories lack direct evidence and contradict logic. “Nothing” has no properties, no energy, no potential—it cannot produce anything. Quantum fluctuations occur within pre-existing fields, which means they are not from nothing and cannot explain the origin of everything.
Ironically, many are willing to believe in unproven, illogical hypotheses to avoid the idea of God. They accept wild speculation, yet reject the most rational explanation: an eternal, immaterial, necessary Creator. The problem isn’t a lack of evidence for God—it’s a lack of willingness to accept the consequences of that truth. God is not an invention; He is the only explanation that makes sense.
