With tricks like bmw charging a subscription enable the heated seats you already bought, and the VW cheat device scandal, consumers are quite fed up of western auto brands.

China is moving so far ahead of the UK and Europe. The reality is that investment stopped in the UK when Thatcher privatised essential infrastructure and use financial services as the backbone - resulting in making the UK manufacturing uncompetitive and services disappear offshore.

This is fantastic news. For anyone who’s actually a capitalist out there, competition supposedly makes the market more efficient. Prices will come down. charging will get wider and cheaper. Parts will get cheaper. Batteries will get cheaper and . It’s all good. Regular people can now afford to buy electric cars for the first time and we can get some of those yachzi cars off the road and put Leon out of business

Calling this an assault feels pretty ridiculous. Company begins selling something people want at a lower price and with better technology, forcing other companies to catch up to compete, is literally the point of the free market.

How come the framing it as a Assult or a knife, it’s business, legal. It’s up to any brand to promote themselves and make there products or services more available and attractive any potential competitors.

This is a double whammy of (most) legacy car makers ripping off consumers for basic features selling them as optional extras. And also a manufacturer, in this case byd, with the full financial backing of the CCP to make cars cheaper than anyone else.
