Or you could just buy a USB MP3 player for under $10 and fill it with DRM free public domain books instead? Hell a CD player from a thrift store for $1 and every library has shelves of CD audiobooks to borrow. This is just landfill fodder.

I just play children audio books in the car, or get her a wireless headphone and connect it to my phone with whatever story she wants to hear. 😂😂

What are these comments?? How does the yoto prevents the parents from reading? How is this consumerism final boss?? It's a screen free tool, it's amazing for long car rides, the plane and quiet time. We as parents can't read to them 24/7, and sometimes toddlers need to be still and quiet, the yoto is amazing for this. Ps: a librarian.

My 4, 6, and 8 yo love theirs. it’s educational and gets them off screens. They have make your own cards. They use it all the time, my oldest son has listened to so many books. Worth it for my family
