imagine trying to fold a popcorn shirt that's as big as a regular cotton t shirt. they weigh the same, fit the same. but is harder to fold and once folded the same as a regular shirt, will be a taller stack overall. the more creases and spaces made by the material will make it take up more space, but you don't want to just iron it out to straighten it you bought it to be a popcorn shirt after all, so either you hang it, or deal with folding it and dealing with the space issue.

I saw that you said that other girls chose not to take their hair down for hip hop- jist want to inform people that some of them probably couldn’t. To get my hair in a bun like that my mom had to tease it a lot and smooth it over a rolled up sock and pin it. There was no doing anything with it after taking it out with out washing and conditioning it. This isn’t important but just wanted to share because I know a lot of black women have insecurities about their hair texture and it may help to know we have problems too just different ones and white hair textures are not necessarily better just different
