The readon the UN is doing nothing is because as always in the middle east, Israel is tasked with doing the west's dirty work for them - It's clear to everyone that the islamist regime in Teheran, the same regime that funds and supports pretty much all of the terrorists activity across the middle east right now, can not be allowed to have nuclear weapons, but the international bodies are too impotent to do anything about it. So it's the same game each time - Israel is to be given a short window for military operations, against Iran, the Hizballah, the Hammas, the Hautis, to avoid the need for the western powers to actually do anything. Israel throws it's weight about a little bit, at least until things are under control enough so that British naive girls are safe posting their tiktoks, then the window closes and the world keeps spinning for a while more.
