There was a part of the video I had to cut for time, but basically I talk about how I totally understand that not everyone gets to go to university — it’s a privilege. So I asked someone: if in the future I had the money to go back to university just for fun, would they come with me? And more often than not, the answer is no — because they feel that if you have money, you don’t need university. That conversation I had yesterday is actually what sparked this video.

For us, they said university shows you are “teachable”. You can learn critical views, logic, etc. When you join a company, your knowledge could be outdated, but you spent 4 years to understand something = teachable

I have a degree and I ended up marrying someone who didn’t go to college and communication with him is IMPOSSIBLE. It’s horrible. And now that we are divorced it’s even worse bc there’s no critical thinking up there 🤪

I dated a guy who did his degree vs another who didn’t and it made a world of a difference. A non negotiable for me now is choosing a partner who at least has their bachelors.

they’re gonna yell at you for this but ur spitting FACTS!!!!! this is a standard I have too now, with the caveat that they had to have been passionate/enjoyed school. My ex did not but I do and it was a big clash between us
