What do you think of the "it's your personality and not your looks" sentiment that many of you have? Especially considering the hundreds of thousands of stories women have about dating terrible, unfaithful, unhygienic, unemployed, and sometimes even abusive men who just happen to be physically attractive? Is it a coincidence that these men are hot yet terrible people and get dates/relationships or do women find these personalities attractive?

What of we have chronic illness & haven't been able to work? I haven't been able to keep a job so I haven't dated as an adult yet - last relationship was H.S. My biggest regret is not dating in my 20s 30s because I didn't feel worthy without a good secure job & didn't want to burden someone with my illness.
